Once upon a time, in a grand kingdom, everyone had the same goal:
To win the king’s favor.
Some brought expensive wines, others recited flattering poems.
The court had turned into a silent battlefield.
The more one bowed, the more valuable they became.
The more one praised, the smarter they were considered.
But one day, a jester appeared in the middle of the palace.
He was different no fancy clothes, no polished words.
Only a face unafraid to tell the truth.
The king said, “Make me laugh.”
The jester bowed his head, looked around, started jumping,
and suddenly right in front of everyone he farted.
The hall froze.
Everyone looked away; some were embarrassed, some furious.
But the king… burst into laughter.
He laughed uncontrollably, for minutes on end.
And then he said,
“I’ve heard thousands of words in this palace, but none as honest as that.”
From that day on, the king kept the jester close.
Because around him, no one dared to hide behind masks.
With one single act, the jester had exposed them all.
Time passed. Kingdoms fell. Thrones changed.
But the method stayed the same.
Even today, people still try to win the king’s favor with flattery, fake smiles, and shamelessness disguised as intelligence.
Some still don’t get it:
The jester wasn’t loved for farting he was loved for being honest.
But today’s people… They’ve become even worse than that jester.
No one tries to make the king laugh anymore they only try to trip each other to climb the throne.
And the most tragic part is this:
Even that jester who farted his way into the king’s favor would be ashamed if he saw today’s bootlickers.
