One day someone says, “I quit social media” but of course… Posts it on social media.
69,000 likes underneath.
Thousands of comments saying, “So true,” “Good for you.”
And yet, no one stops to think:
If they truly quit, that post wouldn’t even exist.
But noticing doesn’t serve anyone.
Because everyone wants to justify their own lies through someone else’s so called honesty.
The New Religion of Lies: Validation
No one seeks truth anymore.
Everyone just wants to be seen, praised, approved.
“Awareness posts” have become modern lies, wrapped in hollow, aesthetic words.
“I’m protecting my energy.”
“I’m simplifying my life.”
“I’ve found myself.”
They all mean the same thing:
“Please, notice me.”
Social media is no longer a platform; it’s a fake modern temple.
And the worshippers all bow to a god named Like.
Lying Consciously: A Collective Ritual
You know what’s worse?
Everyone knows this awareness is fake. But no one says a word.
Because everyone’s acting in the same play.
When a lie gets thousands of likes, it stops being a lie.
It becomes energy a collectively approved low frequency.
Real Awareness Doesn’t Get Likes
True awareness is silent.
It doesn’t need to explain itself. Because the one who knows the truth doesn’t need proof.
But in this era, even silence has been turned into PR.
Now, even “not posting” is a marketing strategy.
Isn’t that tragic?
Awareness was meant to be inner but now it’s content.
Irony
And since everyone pretends to be “letting go,” turning every emotion into an “enlightenment story,” then here’s my post:
“I pooped, I relaxed, I’m enlightened.”
Maybe that’ll get 69,000 likes too.
Because today, it’s not the one who tells the truth that gets applause it’s the one who lies beautifully and believes their own lie.
